Tubing for Medela Pump In Style Breast Pumps. Medela item #8007156. This tubing is used on the Medela Original Pump In Style breast pump, the Medela Pump In Style Traveler breast pump, and the Medela Pump In Style Companion breast pump, but NOT the Pump In Style Advanced. The tubes are sold individually, and two tubes are needed to double pump with the Pump In Style breast pumps. They are clear plastic tubes, with one soft end and a clear hard plastic adapter on the other end. The hard adapter end of the tube is plugged into the back of the breastshield connector, and the plain end of the tubing attaches to the breast pump.
Old pumps may list the pump tube part number as #8007071. This pump tube is no longer manufactured, and has been replaced by this tube #8007156. This newer tube has a longer clear hard adapter than #8007071 but will fit snugly into the back of your breastshield connector. It will not push in all the way up to the adapter hub but fits well enough to provide a very good seal.
